The 2006 Bracebridge municipal election was held on November 13, 2006 to elect a mayor, councillors, and school trustees in the town of Bracebridge, Ontario.

Edith J. Nichols first sought election to the Bracebridge council in 1991. She was unsuccessful that year, but was elected in 1994 and re-elected in 1997, 2000, 2003, and 2006. She did not seek re-election in 2010. Nichols has chaired Bracebridge's Festival of the Falls and has said that she tried to preserve the community's small-town character.[1]
