2021 FIFA Arab Cup

The 2021 FIFA Arab Cup[1] (Arabic: كأس العرب 2021) is an upcoming tournament between countries in the Arab world that will take place in Qatar.[2] The tournament is scheduled to take place between 1 and 18 December 2021, as a prelude to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.[2]

Of the 22 participating teams, the top 10 teams based on the December 2021 FIFA ranking will directly qualify to the group stage, while the remaining 12 teams will play in the qualifying round, with six teams going through to the group stage.[3] In the group stage, there will be four groups of four teams, with the top two teams from each group qualifying to the knockout stage.[1]
