World Championships
The Road World Championships are set to be held in Flanders, Belgium from September 18-26, 2021.[2]

Olympics
The 2020 Summer Olympics were originally scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan in July and August, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games were postponed to July 23-August 8, 2021.[3]

- Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana organizers have not announced new dates for the race.
- Vuelta a Andalucía race organizers have requested that the race be postponed to late May due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New dates have not yet been finalized.[13]
- The 2021 Volta ao Algarve was originally scheduled to take place February 17-21, 2021. Organizers postponed the race due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal.[16]
- Originally scheduled for late 2020, the Oceania Cycling Confederation has yet to set new dates for the 2021 Oceania Championships.
