Abimbola Ogunbanjo

Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo is the President of the National Council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, a position he was elected to on 25 September 2017.[1] He serves as a Managing Partner in the corporate law firm of Chris Ogunbanjo & Co (Solicitors), a firm he joined over 24 years ago after a spell as a credit analyst with Chase Manhattan Bank (Nigeria) Limited.[2] He is a member of the International Bar Association, Nigerian Bar Association, Institute of Petroleum and a registered capital market consultant with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria.[1]

Birth and education

Abimbola Ogunbanjo was born in Nigeria to the family of Chris Ogunbanjo, a Nigerian corporate lawyer and philanthropist. He holds a B.Sc. ( Hons) in Business Administration from American College, Switzerland. He also holds LL.B. from University of Buckingham, United Kingdom.[2] He has Certificates in International Capital Markets and Maritime Law from New York Institute of Finance and University of Southampton respectively.
