African Securities Exchanges Association
The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) was incorporated in 1993 in the Republic of Kenya. ASEA's aim is to provide a formal framework for the mutual co-operation of securities exchanges in the African region. Its functions include the exchange of information and assistance in the development of member exchanges.
There are 30 exchanges in Africa, representing 39 nations' capital markets. 27 these securities exchanges are members of ASEA.
