Alan Buchanan (naval architect)
Alan Buchanan (1922-2015) was a British naval architect and yachtsman. He designed more than 2,400 boats, including yachts who won Admiral's Cup, the Cowes Week, and the Fastnet Race.[1][2] The Halcyon 23 was designed by Buchanan.[3]
