Alexander Münninghoff
Alexander Münninghoff (13 April 1944 – 28 April 2020) was a Poland-born Dutch journalist and writer. From 1974 to 2007 he worked for the Haagsche Courant. Münninghoff wrote, among others, many articles and books about chess. In 1983 he won the Prijs voor de Dagbladjournalistiek and in 2015 he won the Libris Geschiedenis Prijs for his book De stamhouder.
