Early life
Alina Boz was born on 14 June 1998 in Moscow, Russia. Her mother is Russian and her father is a Turkish immigrant who was living in Bulgaria.[1] She was seven when her family moved to Turkey due to her father's new job. There she learned Turkish and attended primary school.[1] She studied at Private Gökjet Aviation High School. She began her dance career in the dance theatre.[2][3] Before starting her acting career, she worked as a model on commercials and magazines.[4]
Career
She started her acting career in the 2013 series Cesur Hemşire as Canan.[3][1][2] In 2014, she made her debut in the series Paramparça and depicted the character of Hazal along with actress Nurgül Yeşilçay.[5] In 2016, she appeared in the movie Kaçma Birader and portrayed the character of Melis Kahvaci. In 2017, she had a role in the movie Böluk. In 2017, she worked in the series Sevdanın Bahçesi as Defne.[1][2] In 2018, she was cast in the series Vatanım Sensin as Princess Anastasia Romanova, and in the same year she had a leading role as Azra Güneş in the series Elimi Bırakama.[3][4]
She had a leading role in the Netflix original series Aşk 101 and portrayed the character of "Eda".[6] In 2021, She starred as Mahur opposite Burak Deniz in the television series Maraşlı.[7][8]
Personal life
In 2015, she started dating Turkish actor Burak Yörük and they broke up in 2017, however they reconciled in 2018.[4] In September 2020, Boz tested positive for coronavirus, along with her castmates Kubilay Aka and İpek Filiz Yazıcı, who also tested positive for the virus.[9][10]
In 2020, she started dating Turkish singer Mithat Can Özer.[11][12]
