Ari Taub (wrestler)
Ari Michael Taub (born January 19, 1971) is a Canadian Greco-Roman wrestler.[1]
Biography
Taub is Jewish, and was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.[2][3] He resides in Calgary, Alberta, and is an attorney.[4]
Career
At the wrestling World Championships, he came in 5th in Freestyle Cadets at 95 kg in 1987, and 5th in Freestyle Espoir in 1991. In the Pan American Wrestling Championships, he won a silver medal in 1992, and bronze medals in 2006 and 2007. He won a bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games, and a gold medal at the 2007 Commonwealth Championships.
Taub competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, in the 120 kg weight class.[4][5]
Taub created the MMA fight TV and live event series, Hard Knocks Fighting in March 2009.[6] He is the founder and CEO of Hard Knocks Fighting network.
