Armando Marques (referee)
Armando Nunes Castanheira da Rosa Marques also known as Armando Marques (born 6 March 1930 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - died 16 July 2014) was a former Brazilian international football referee.[1]
Career
He officiated 19 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1964-1978. He attributed 2 matches in 1966 (1) and 1974 (1) World Cup, 1966 (1), 1970 (1), 1974 (2), 1978 (1) World Cup qualifying (UEFA and CONMEBOL), Copa America (1), 1972 Olympic Games (3)[2] and others were in friendly matches. He also attributed a match in Brazil Independence Cup in 1972.
In club football he officiated 18 matches in Copa Libertadores during 1965-78. He also attributed a match in 1964 Intercontinental Cup between Independiente and Internazionale 1:0.
