Arvind Limbavali

Aravind Limbavali is an Indian politician who is the current Forest Minister of Karnataka and BJP State General Secretary of Karnataka. He is member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly SC reserved[1] and the Bharatiya Janata Party.[2] He was also the minister for Health & Family Welfare [3] and Higher Education[4] during the BJP Government.

Personal life

Aravind Limbavali joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) early in his life and is involved for over 35 years. He had been an active member for Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) over the years

Some key highlights: - ABVP National Secretary 1992-1995 - “Save Campus” campaign for solving the educational problems in the - Worked on “Kashmir Chalo” agitation. Shri Aravind Limbavali was the leader of the Karnataka team. He was one of the five leaders chosen for the flag hoisting in Srinagar. After the team progressed till Udhampur, it was stopped there and was restricted from going further.

Karnataka Legislative Assembly election, 2013

Aravind Limbavali was elected to Karnataka Legislative Assembly in the 2013 election from Mahadevapura (174) constituency with 110244 votes defeating Srinivasa A.C. of Indian National Congress by 6149 votes.[1]

He was re-elected in the Karnataka Assembly Elections held in May 2018 from the Mahadevapura constituency.
