Ashlee Savona

Ashlee Savona (born 12 December 1992) is a Canadian born Guyanese women's international footballer who plays as a midfielder. She is a member of the Guyana women's national football team.[3]

Savona was honored as an all-Southland Conference performer during her junior and senior seasons. She was also the first Northwestern State University player to play on a national team when she was named to the Guyana national squad in 2010, since her mother came from Guyana.[4] She was part of the team at the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship.[5]

After four years at Northwestern, where she obtained her Bachelors in Accounting, Savona joined University of Alabama in Huntsville as an assistant coach.[6]
