Asunafo District
Asunafo District is a former district that was located in Brong Ahafo Region (now in Ahafo Region), Ghana. On 12 November 2003, Asunafo South District was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor; thus the remaining portion has been since then officially called Asunafo North District. The district assembly was located in the southwest part of Brong Ahafo Region and had Goaso as its capital town.
