Balázs
Balázs (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈbɒlaːʒ]) is a male surname or given name and is the Hungarian equivalent of Blaise.
From the Latin nomen Blasius, itself from the adjective blaesus, meaning "lisping", "stammering". The Greek Βλάσιος comes from the adjective βλαισός, meaning "bent", "distorted" or "crooked". The correlation between both etimologies is uncertain.
