Barbara Wolfe
Barbara Wolfe is an economist and the Richard A. Easterlin Professor of Economics, Population Health Sciences, and Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.[1]
Wolfe is also a Faculty Affiliate at the Institute for Research on Poverty.[2] She is a research associate at the NBER,[3] and the Levy Institute of Bard College.[4] She is also an Emeritus Fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA).[5]
She obtained her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.[1]
Research
Wolfe's research mainly focuses on health economics and the Economics of Poverty. Her works have been quote more than 19900 times according to Google Scholar.[6] She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.
She has published in the Journal of Economic Literature,[7] the American Economic Review,[8] Demography[9] and the Journal of Human Resources.[10]
