Notes
- 1 WTA Tournament of Champions was held from 2009 to 2014, when WTA Elite Trophy replaced it.
- 2 The first Premier 5 event of the year has switched back and forth between the Dubai Tennis Championships and the Qatar Open since 2009. Dubai was classified as a Premier 5 event from 2009 to 2011 before being succeeded by Doha for the 2012–2014 period. In 2015, Dubai regained its Premier 5 status while Doha was demoted to Premier status. The two tournaments have since alternated status every year.
- 3 In 2014, the Pan Pacific Open was downgraded to a Premier event and replaced by the Wuhan Open.
- 4 Strycova-Görges walkover-victory in the second round, at the 2013 Cincinnati Open, is not counted as a win.
- 5 Strycova-Kvitová withdrew before second-round match, at the 2016 Qatar Open, is not counted as a loss.
- 6 Strycova-Sestini Hlaváčková walkover-victory in semifinal, at the 2018 Wuhan Open, is not counted as a win.
- 7 Strycova-Hsieh withdrew before quarterfinal match, at the 2019 Cincinnati Open, is not counted as a loss.
- 8 2003: WTA ranking–339.
- † Strycova didn't play in the final, but was part of team because she played matches in previous rounds.
- * 2020 Wimbledon Championships, Indian Wells Open, Miami Open, Madrid Open, Canadian Open, WTA Elite Trophy and WTA Finals were cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic.
- * 2020 Summer Olympics are postponed to 2021.
