Bashir Mehtaab
Muhammad Bashir, (Urdu: بشیر مہتاب , Hindi: बशीर महताब) born 14 March 1994 in Tehsil Pogal Paristan of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, is an Urdu poet.[1][2][3][4]

Education and career
Mehtaab completed his school education from Govt Higher Secondary School Ramban in 2010. He started writing Urdu poems at an early age. His gazals publish in many Urdu dailies of J&K.[5][6] He has recited his poetry at various state and national Urdu mushairas. He is the member of the 'Bazm-e-Adab Ramban[4][7]' which is a cultural and literary non-governmental organization based in Ramban.
In October 2018, Mehtaab recited his poetry at Two Days Urdu Conference organised by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages at Tagore Hall, Srinagar.[8]
Mehtaab was selected as one of the 24 Urdu poets from all over India to recite his poetry at All India Urdu Mushaira held at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu on 28 January 2019 which was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. Mehtaab presented his poetic compositions and enthralled the audience.[9][10][11][12]
Mehtaab usually publishes his content on his personal blog[13] He is also featured on various famous Urdu poetry websites like Rekhta,[14] Aruuz,[1][2][3][15] Urdu Point[16] and OnlineUrdu.[17]
