Basrief Arief

Basrief Arief (born January 23, 1947) was the Attorney General of Indonesia from November 26, 2010 until October 20, 2014. He was born in Tanjung Enim in South Sumatra.[1][2]

As attorney general, he was responsible for state prosecutions. In 2011, he fired several officials of the Bojonegoro Prosecutor's Officer in East Java, for their role in a case in which a wealthy female corruption convict paid another woman to serve her prison term.[3]
