Beatrix Ramosaj

Beatrix Ramosaj (born June 9, 1994 in Groningen) is a Dutch-Albanian fashion model and singer.[1]

Early life

Beatrix Ramosaj was born in Groningen, Netherlands to Albanian parents. She is the elder sister of Alban Ramosaj. About her childhood she says: "My aunt is a spiritual inspiration to me, but Lyceum's choice has been the influence of my mother Antigone." [2]

Career

Beatrix has been a part of the music and model scene for several years now, and in her repertoire counts some successful songs and video clips. She has been very active in music events that take place in the Albanian lands, and also has many concerts in Albania and abroad. Beatrix Ramosaj participates in the 2010 Kënga Magjike with the song "I Love Beat-In". A fast-paced song that reached the finale of the event. In November 2011, Beatrix Ramosaj participates again in Kënga Magjike with the song "Dilemma".[3][4]

On February 14, 2011, Beatrix Ramosaj releases the video clip "Let Me Love You", a song of the R&B genre on Lovers' Day. An Elgit Doda Production and Big Bast text. The song is about a girl in love who does not have the courage to express love to the boy she loves. Asked if the song was for someone in particular Beatrix replies: "No, it's not a dedication, it's just a suggested text."[5][6]

Personal life

Beatrix has one brother named Alban Ramosaj, which is also a famous singer. Her Father died in 2010, which caused a great mourning in her life.[7] She has been considered the 'Albanian Rihanna' by western media.[6]
