Bill Kyle
William Miller Kyle (December 23, 1924 – April 17, 1968) was a professional ice hockey player who played three games in the National Hockey League. He played with the New York Rangers during two seasons. Kyle is also NHL record holder for the best single season points per game average with 3.00 during 1950–51 NHL season. He achieved this record during his only game of the season. Subsequently, only Richard Kromm has equaled this record during 1992–93, also achieved in a single game. Bill is the brother of Gus Kyle.
