Brazil–Peru railway
The Brazil–Peru Railway is a proposed transcontinental railroad project that will link the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It is estimated to cost € 12 billion. The construction will start in 2019 with an estimated build phase until 2024.

On 6 December 2017 the head of state of Brazil and Bolivia signed an agreement for the upcoming track. There are two options for a track in a discussion: From Santos (Brazil) to Ilo (Peru) or from Santos (Brazil) to Matarani (Peru).
