Brighton SC
The Brighton Soccer Club is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in the Melbourne suburb of Brighton. The club was founded in late 1987 by the merger of the original Brighton and Prahran City soccer clubs founded in 1908 and 1924 respectively.[1][2] The club fields both senior and reserve teams for men & women, and operates a junior academy under license from Football Victoria.[3] This club has no connection to the defunct 'Prahran City Football Club' that competed in 2012–2015.[4]
