Byju Raveendran
Byju Raveendran (born 1981)[2] is an Indian entrepreneur who is the founder of BYJU’s.[3] He founded BYJU’s in 2011. he has a net worth of 1.9 B.[4][5] He is currently in the list of top 100 billionaires of India and has a ranking of 72nd. He started byjus tablet in 2012 and further releasing his app in 2015 which got 2 million users in first 2 months of release. He was named to Fortune Magazine's 2020 '40 Under 40' list under the technology category.[2]

Early life
He was born in 1981 in the Azhikode[6] village of Kerala, India. He studied at a Malayalam medium school where both his parents were teachers.[7]In his initial life he worked as a service engineer in a multinational shipping firm. He scored 100 percentile in the CAT examination. He started taking classes and initially, he used to give them a free trial of 1 week and later charged them a fee if they liked it. He eventually grew from a classroom to an auditorium. He later founded Byju's and continued to operate as a CEO. He was also recently added to the startup advisory panel as a non-official member along with Kunal Bahl.[8]
