Carolina Vera
Carolina Susana Vera is a meteorologist from Argentina. She is the principal investigator of the Argentinian research council CONICET and is a professor in the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Her research focuses on climate variability and global warming in South America.

Since the 10th of December 2019, she was part of the Argentinian government as part of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.[2] She is vice president of work group I of the UN's IPCC program.[3][4]
