Chandini Chowdary is an Indian actress who works in Telugu films.[3]

Early life

Chowdary is from a Telugu-speaking Hindu family and was brought up in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.[2]

Career

Before making her debut in Telugu cinema, Chowdary acted in a many short films while studying in Bangalore. In some interviews, she said that when she came home for the summer holidays, she had the opportunity to star in the short film 'The Week' by MR Productions. After that she made short films like Prema Prema, Love at First Sight, True Love, Approach, Proposal, Madhuram, Sambar Idli, Lucky, Two Side Love, Fall in Love, Romeo and Juliet.

Initially, she acted together many short film with Raj Tarun and became a successful couple, one of which was 'The Blind Date'. It is noteworthy that although they did all the shorts, they did not act together in a single feature film.

In her early days, Chowdary played minor roles in Life is Beautiful (2012) and Prema Ishq Kaadhal (2013).[4]

Chowdary played the lead heroine in Ketugadu (2015), Kundanapu Bomma (2016), Shamanthakamani (2017) and Howrah Bridge (2018).[5] Her performance in web series Masti's was critically acclaimed. She garnered acclaim for her role in Manu (2018).[6] In 2020, she starred in Colour Photo opposite Suhas[7] in which she received praise for her acting skills.[8][9] Her final release in 2020 was Bombhaat.[5]
