Colour of Love (Amber song)
"Colour of Love" is a 1996 song recorded by Dutch-German singer Amber. It was released as the second single from her debut album, of the same name and is the follow-up single to her successful hit, "This Is Your Night". The song is co-written by Amber with Berman Brothers, who also produced it. "Colour of Love" charted in several countries, like Australia, Iceland and New Zealand.[1] In NZ, it was a bigger hit than "This is Your Night, peaking at number 31. On the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, the song reached number 105, but later at number 74,[2] in 1997. On the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play, the single peaked at number 5. The music video sees Amber performing the song in a yellow submarine.

Critical reception
AllMusic editor Alex Henderson described the song as "European-sounding" and noted that it's not "unlike something '80s dance duo Fun Fun would have done".[3] Larry Flick from Billboard described it as an "infectious and perky Euro-NRG twirler". He commented that the song is "solid" and "her performance is nothing short of star-powered."[4]
