Cornelius A. Smith

Sir Cornelius Alvin Smith, GCMG[1] (born 7 April 1937)[2][3] is the Governor-General of the Bahamas,[4] serving since 28 June 2019.

Biography

He previously was Ambassador to the United States starting in 2008. He was also Minister of Transport, and Aviation of the Bahamas.[5][6] In 2018, he was sworn in as the deputy Governor General.[7]
