Dean of the House
The Dean of the House is, in several legislatures, the member with the longest unbroken record of service.[1] Specific examples include:
- Dean of the United States House of Representatives
- Dean of the House (Canada), the dean in the Canadian House of Commons
The Dean of the House of Representatives in the United States is Don Young, a Republican from Alaska serving since March 6, 1973.
