Al Jourgensen described DethRok's music by saying "when you listen to that stuff, you want to commit suicide."[4]
On Halloween 2014, DethRok released a second album NOT DED YET[5] along with a mixtape version, NOT DED YET TOO,[6] including a cover of the Chelsea Wolfe song Halfsleeper. What Could Go Wrong was released on Halloween 2015 in advance of an album by the same name. In 2017, a preview of more songs from the new album was released titled What Went Wrong MixtaEP.[7]
The release of "What Could Go Wrong" has been repeatedly delayed for dubious reasons, including a claim in January 2017 that the website www.dethrok.com had been "confiscated by the CIA." [8]
In February 2017 DethRok was detained by US Border Patrol upon returning from Canada. Allegedly someone had seen him editing a video for the song "Aliens" on an international flight the previous month, became alarmed, & reported it as threatening activity. He was detained for several hours & asked a series of questions by counter-terrorism officers including "Do you love America?" <ref>https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1331833226860286<ref>
DethRok released a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Everybody Knows" on Sept. 14, 2020. <ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ou9Wc8L9lWw<ref>
