Dhananjay Munde
Dhananjay Panditrao Munde (born 15 July 1975)[2] is an Indian politician, who is currently a member of the Nationalist Congress Party, was appointed cabinet minister in Uddhav Thackeray's Maharashtra State Government.

Early life and education
Munde was born on 15 July 1975 in Nathra, Parli Vaijnath, Beed in a Vanjari family. Munde's family consists of his mother, Rukmini Munde, wife Rajshri Munde and daughter Adishri Munde.[3]
Political Career
Munde won the 2019 assembly elections from Parli constituency. He is the Guardian Minister of Beed District and the Minister of Social Justice and Special Assistance of the State of Maharashtra.[4][5] On 24 December 2019,[6][7] as the Minister for Social Justice and Special Assistance.[8] Earlier, he had held the role of opposition leader in the Legislative Council of Maharashtra.[9]

Dhananjay Munde is married to Rajashri Munde.[10]
Rape allegations
In January 2021, Munde faced allegations of rape by singer Renu Sharma. He issued a statement that he is in a relationship with Karuna Sharma, Renu Sharma's sister, and Karuna had two children with him whose responsibility he has accepted. Munde added that since 2019 the two sisters and their brother have been blackmailing him.[11] A few days later, Renu Sharma withdrew her rape complaint against Dhananjay Munde. [12]
