Disposable towel

Disposable towels are a single-use alternative to reusable bath towels. They are a type of disposable convenience product, first popularised by the hospital supply industry and now used in resorts, hotels, beauty salons, spas, gyms and day cares and similar fields.[1] Disposable towels can be cheaper, less labour intensive, and more time effective than laundering reusable towels.[2]

The usage of disposable towels has been shown to minimise the risk of contamination and the spread of harmful contagions.[3] Disposable towels offer an advantage compared to alternatives in fields requiring sanitary conditions, eliminating the need for repeated washing of the towel itself.
