Don Latarski
Don Latarski (born December 8, 1953) is a recording artist, songwriter, engineer, and head of guitar studies at the University of Oregon.[1][2]
Born in Detroit, Latarski is known in finger-style guitar circles as "the guy who glues his picks to his fingernails."[3] Latarski's a lifelong player and music educator, the author of 18 published books, to date, for guitar. He has also released 14 studio albums.[4] Latarski is also an audio producer and engineer. He is the owner of Crescent Studios in Eugene, Oregon. Don Latarski has worked with Mason Williams, Bobby McFerrin, Charlie Baty, Paul deLay, and the Eugene Symphony Orchestra.
In 2008, Latarski appeared on PBS's Oregon Art Beat[3] showcasing his jazz, blues, funk, and finger-picking percussive style.
