Dundas Castle (Roscoe, New York)

Dundas Castle, also referred to as Craig-e-Clair,[3] is a historic house and former estate of Ralph Wurts-Dundas near Roscoe, New York. Wurts-Dundas was a wealthy and prominent New Yorker and grandson of William Wurts, one of three brothers who built the Delaware & Hudson Canal.

The residence, designed in the Gothic Revival and Elizabethan Revival styles, was constructed between 1915 and 1924 but never completed nor occupied after the death of Wurts-Dundas in 1921. The building and property were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
