Distribution

Eleven Arts is the North American theatrical distributor behind Japanese animation titles such as the Naruto film franchise, Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Rebuild of Evangelion, Sailor Moon R: The Movie, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos, Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, and Digimon Adventure tri., as well as Mari Okada's acclaimed titles such as Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day and The Anthem of the Heart. In 2018, Eleven Arts expanded its business into home video and digital distribution with its partnerships with Shout! Factory and Right Stuf Inc. Through Eleven Arts and Shout! Factory’s multi-year agreement, Eleven Arts released Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1 & 2, Laughing Under the Clouds Gaiden: Three Film Collection, A Silent Voice (film), Liz and the Blue Bird, Penguin Highway, all three Sound! Euphonium films, Millennium Actress, and The Wonderland.[16]

In 2019, Eleven Arts worked with Right Stuf Inc. to release Limited Edition Box Sets of Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms[17] and A Silent Voice.[18]

In addition to Millennium Actress,[19] Eleven Arts has produced the English dub for anime titles Haikara-san: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1, [20] Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms, [21] Liz and the Blue Bird, [22] Penguin Highway,[23] Sound! Euphonium The Movie Our Promise: A Brand New Day,[24] and The Wonderland.[25]

Production (Eleven Arts Studios)

In 2021, the production branch of Eleven Arts, Eleven Arts Studios, completed Prisoners of the Ghostland, a feature film directed by Sion Sono, starring Nicolas Cage and Sofia Boutella, selected at Sundance Film Festival [26] [27] 2021 and is in post-production for Gift of Fire, a Sundance Film Festival award-winning script, co-produced by NHK. [28] Eleven Arts Studios produced Lords of Chaos (2018 Sundance Film Festival Official Selection), [29] Downrange (2017 Toronto International Film Festival Official Selection) Man from Reno (2015 Independent Spirit Award Nominee),[30] Uzumasa Limelight (2014 Winner of Best Picture and Best Actor at Fantasia International Film Festival).
