Eric Monjonell

Eric Monjonell Torras (born 16 December 2001) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central defender for Girona FC B.

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Monjonell and the second or maternal family name is Torras.

Club career

Born in Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, Barcelona, Catalonia,[2] Monjonell represented FC Argentona, CF Badalona, CE Mataró and Girona FC[3] as a youth. In June 2020, after finishing his formation, he was promoted to the latter's B-team in Tercera División.[4]

Monjonell made his senior debut on 18 October 2020, starting in a 3–0 away win against UE Figueres.[5] He made his first team debut on 4 November, coming on as a late substitute for fellow youth graduate Gerard Gumbau in a 2–2 Segunda División away draw against Real Zaragoza.[6][7]
