Ernakulam Banaswadi Superfast Express is a Superfast train belonging to Southern Railway zone of Indian Railways that run between Ernakulam Junction and Banaswadi (Bangalore) in India.

Currently, there are two sets of Ernakulam Banaswadi Superfast Express which is 1st set consists of train number 12683 / 12684 and the second set consists of train number 22607 / 22608. Whereas the first set was started 3 November 2005 and the second set was started on 24 July 2011 [1] and the both sets were terminates to Bangalore City and was named as Ernakulam Bengaluru City Superfast Express but to de-congest Bangalore City these trains were shifted to Banaswadi and renamed as Ernakulam Banaswadi Superfast Express at 1 Sep 2017.[2] [3]
Service
The frequency of the first set is bi-weekly and the frequency of the second set is weekly and the distance of both trains are the same with the length of 604 km and the average speed are also the same with 55 km/hr with the maximum time of 11 hours 3 mins on both sides.[4]
Routes
Both sets of Ernakulam Banaswadi Superfast Express passes through Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad Junction, Podanur Junction which lies near Coimbatore, Erode Junction, Salem Junction, Bangarapet Junction to its destination on both sides.
