F.G. Public High School Mardan
F.G. Public High School Mardan is situated in the cantonment area of Mardan near Baghdada. It is one of the progressive educational institutions of Mardan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The foundation stone was laid by the then President of Pakistan Mohammad Ayub Khan in 1964 and completed in two years. The school is from Kg-1 to 10th Class.

Administration
The school is under the Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions (cantt/Garrison) of Pakistan and affiliated with F.B.I.S.E. Islamabad. FGEIs (C/G) Directorate manages 311 schools and 44 colleges spread all over the country. The Directorate has a dual role both as a Directorate of Inspector General of Training and Evaluation (IGT&E) Branch, GHQ, and as an attached civil department of the Ministry of Defence. It has more than 10,000 employees, paid out of civil estimates, and the strength of students in FGEIs is approximately 200, 000.
Curriculum
The school follows the curriculum of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad. The books are prepared and printed by Punjab text book board Lahore.
Building
It has an old historical single story building having twenty class rooms while staff rooms, principal office and clerks offices are near to it. The classes are in the inverted U-type design while looking from the front having beautiful lawns in the centre. It has a central hall for the curricular and extra curricular activities. The assembly ground is exactly in front of the hall.
Grounds and sports
F.G. Public High School Mardan has two athletic grounds. One is big and well suitable for cricket, hockey, and football. The other is for girls. The students of this institution are active in all types of sports and specially hockey, in which they have played up to national level.
