The album was a critical and commercial failure, making it to #144 on the Billboard 200 and #27 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. However, it featured the hit single "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody" which made it to #1 on the Hot Rap Singles and #51 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was one of the few Select Records albums to have major-label distribution.
