Ferdowsi Gas Field
Ferdowsi Gas Field is one of the NIOC Recent Discoveries which is located at approximately 190 kilometers southeast of Bushehr, 85 kilometers offshore at the Persian Gulf.

The volume of the gas and recoverable gas in this field is estimated at 13 and 9 trillion cubic feet (370×109 and 250×109 m3), respectively .
On December 26, 2007, the contract for development was signed between the National Iranian Oil company (NIOC) and Malaysian SKS International Oil & Gas Co. [1]
