Freek Schutten
Freek Schutten (29 July 1942 in Coevorden – 12 March 2020 in Zwolle) was a Dutch footballer who played, preferably, as a midfielder.

Between 1960 and 1976 he played for Zwolsche Boys, Be Quick, SC Drente (Zwartemeer), again Zwolsche Boys and PEC Zwolle. After his playing career he worked at Ahold. He was a scout for the PEC Zwolle youth team.
He died, after being ill, in Zwolle on 12 March 2020. After his dead, to commemorate him, PEC Zwolle held a minute of silence before their first home game. The women's team, played with black armbands.[1]
