Gabor Szilasi
Gabor Szilasi (1934) is a Canadian artist known for his documentary photography.[1]

In 2017 Montreal's McCord Museum exhibited a 20-year selection of his unpublished photographs of Montreal.[2][3][4] In 2009 he received the Paul-Émile Borduas Prize.[5] In 2010 he was awarded the Governor General’s Award in Visual and Media Arts.[6]
Szilasi is married to the photographer Doreen Lindsay.[7]
Collections
His work is included in the collections of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec,[1] the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal[8] and the National Gallery of Canada[9]
