Private life

Gitte Larsen is a member of a big family of Danish curlers. Her husband Kim Dupont[3] competed at the 1980 and 1981 World Junior Curling Championships. Their son Oliver Dupont is a 2016 World men's silver medallist; his wife Victoria Moiseeva is a Russian curler, 2018 World women's bronze medallist and 2016 European champion. Daughter Denise, has competed at the 2006 and 2010 Olympics, as well as nine World Championships. Their other daughter, Madeleine, competed at the 2010 Olympics, and won the Frances Brodie Award in 2004.
