Goldenisland (St. George)

Goldenisland (St. George) is a townland in Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland.[1] The townland is in the civil parish of St. Mary's.[2]

The townland is located to the south of the town, and is bordered by Goldenisland (Kilmaine) to the west and south, which contains both the Golden Island Shopping Centre, and Burgess Park. The large townland of Athlone borders the area to the north.[3]
