Routeing
The Hemkunt Express runs via Haridwar Junction, Saharanpur Junction, Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana, Pathankot to Jammu Tawi to Udhampur station and finally halting at the newly made Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station.
Traction
WDP-4D of Tughlkhabad shed hauls the train in entire journey. Railway works to give WAP-7 to the train as soon as possible.
