Early life
Kheshgi was born into the affluent Kheshgi family of India in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, on July 10, 1940. He is the brother of distinguished diplomat, Waliullah Kheshgi, and is the brother-in-law of former Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf.[2][3]
Business career
Kheshgi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of IMTECH, a Third Party Inspection and Consultancy Company involved in inspection and consultancy in various industries including Petrochemical and Power sectors.[4] Kheshgi is a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, London, UK, and also a registered Professional Engineer of Pakistan Engineering Council, Islamabad, Pakistan.[5] He is also a former Senior Surveyor of the American Bureau of Shipping.[6]
He has also held many board memberships of several organizations including PIA.[7][8]
Politics
Kheshgi is the incumbent chairman of Pervez Musharraf's political party, the All Pakistan Muslim League.[9][10][11][12][13]
