Horace G. Torbert, Jr.
Horace “Tully” Gates Torbert Jr. (1911–2008) was an American career Foreign Service Officer who served as Chargé d'Affaires ad interim to Hungary (February 1961 – December 1962), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Somalia (1963-1965)[1] and Bulgaria (1970–1973).[2]
Gates graduated from Yale University and Harvard Business School.[3]
