The Gansevoort Hotel was the first urban resort to be developed in New York, as well as the first luxury hotel in the Meatpacking District.[1] Gansevoort Hotel Group, which owns the brand, expanded with the 2011 opening of Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC[2] and a third-party management deal in Turks and Caicos.[3]

GHG is a subsidiary of WSA Management Ltd.,[4] a real estate development and management firm whose principals are Michael Achenbaum and Arik Kislin.[5][6][7]
