Information Network Security Agency

The Information Network Security Agency (Amharic: የመረጃ መረብ ደህንነት ኤጀንሲ, romanized: yämäräǧa märäbə dähənənätə ʼeǧänəsi) is the national signals intelligence and cybersecurity agency of Ethiopia. It was re-established in 2011. On 20 April 2018, Temesgen Tiruneh was appointed Director-General.[1] In 2019, it was the subject of notoriety when a hack revealed that more than half of a sample of 300 agents were using extremely simple passwords.[2]
