Nakhwanga Osogo was born on 10 October 1932 in Bukani Village of Budalangi District in Kenya. Educated 1941-43 Port Victoria Primary; 44-49 St. Mary's Secondary School, Yala; 50-51 Railways Training School, Nairobi.
Career
Nakhwanga Osogo qualified as assistant station master; 51-53 assistant station master Kenya and Uganda; 53-54 Kagumo Teacher's Training College P2 certificate; 55-59 teacher at various schools in Kenya; 60 headmaster Kibasanga School; 61 headmaster Nangina School; 63 elected Member House of Representatives for Ruwambwa; 64-66 Assistant Minister for Agriculture; 66-69 Minister for Information and Broadcasting; 69-73 Minister for Commerce and Industry; May 70 concurrently Minister for Agriculture, 73-74 Minister for Local Government; 74 Minister for Health;[1] concurrently minister for Foreign Affairs; 78 deputy leader of Government Business; 79 Minister for Agriculture; 80 Minister for Livestock. Awarded Elder, Order of the Golden Heart (Kenya); Grand Cordon of the Star of Ethiopia; Order of the Star of Africa (Liberia); Grand Cross of the Star Yugoslav Flag (1st Class).
