Jan Damgaard
Jan Damgaard (born 22 April 1953 in Copenhagen, Denmark) was a Danish international football referee.[1] He was director of Ekstra Bladet Magazine.[2]
Referee career
He was member of FIFA in 1986-94 and officiated 12 international matches. He officiated four World Cup qualifying matches 1990 (2) and 1994 (2), a EURO 1992 qualifying match[3] and others were in friendly matches.
In club football he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as Champions League (2), Uefa Cup (4), Cup Winners Cup (4). [4] He refereed 25 Danish Superliga matches in 1991-1994.
Personal life
After the active refereeing career, Jan Damgaard worked as referee developer and from 1991 to 2012 he was a member of Danish Football Association's Fair Play Committee.[5][6]
